Success.....

Thanks so much everyone...the Tea Party was a huge success....we are compiling contact info and will be creating a database for quick emails calling on us to bombard our elected officials in support or opposition of different legislative actions. We also have the petition to mail within a few days.

Post links to photos on this news story.

WSET News Coverage

Here is some coverage on the Tea Party by WSET: http://www.wset.com/news/stories/0409/613115.html
The story was on last night at 7pm and 11pm. It left out some details (Congressman Goodlatte), labels Ray as Brendan McIntyre, and cut out our 'pitches' a bit, but gets the idea across.

New Debt

This new debt will have to be paid off with higher taxes and/or printing money (leading to inflation) and/or MORE loans from China (and we all know that you can't pay off debt with more debt) --- if they'll give us more.

Native American Headdress for our Colonialist Tea 'Dump-ers'

FAVOR REQUEST MET!
Thanks so much to Dana Hale for volunteering to make the headdresses for our Tea Dump-ers!
We really appreciate it and the event will be that much better! To the Cause!

News from the City: Parking on the Day-of the Event

News from The City: As we will be in the Downtown area, parking will come at a premium. We are also not be able to park on 9th street near the base of the street. So, we wanted to let everyone know that although we won't be able to park at the DPO Grill lot, we will be able to park at Amazement Square's lot (they close at 5pm). Also, there is parking available in the Parking Ramp (for free after 5) at the corner of Commerce and 9th street.

One other notice from the City: No stakes nor poles for your signs, you must hold them.
